Stripping knifes 6 piece Set SK-02

What is Stripping Knife:

Stripping knives are specialized grooming tools used to remove dead or unwanted hair from a dog’s coat, particularly for breeds with wiry or coarse fur. These knives are designed to mimic the traditional hand-stripping technique, which is essential for maintaining the coat’s natural texture and promoting healthy regrowth. Stripping knives feature a serrated or textured blade that helps grip and pull hair from the follicles without cutting or damaging the coat.

Key features of stripping knives include:

• Ergonomic Handle: Designed for comfort and control during use, making them ideal for extended grooming sessions.
• Serrated Blade: The blade’s rough edge helps grasp and pull the hair from the roots without harming the skin or coat.
• Variety of Sizes: Available in different shapes, lengths, and blade angles to suit various coat types and grooming techniques.
• Durable Construction: Typically made from high-quality stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting use and resistance to rust or corrosion.
• Safety Features: Many stripping knives include safety guards or smooth edges to prevent accidental cuts while grooming.

Stripping knives are commonly used for breeds like Terriers, Schnauzers, and other wire-haired dogs, where hand-stripping is necessary to maintain the coat’s correct texture and appearance. Professional groomers or dog owners who regularly groom these types of dogs will find stripping knives an essential tool for achieving the desired coat finish.
